The Moral Takeover
There was once a Barbary Corsair with the name Hayes "Cross-Eyed" Vesh.
He wasn't known for his piracy, nor his skills, only his greed, corruption and his ship, the polacre.
You should have seen his smug face while he relaxed in his hammock.
It's unbelievable how much confidence a man can get from conquering a sloop o' war.

He laid there, grinning while looking at one doubloon. All while the beaten row-slaves were whimpering,
the captured animals screeching and with the captured crew screaming for help.
Hayes did find the whining amusing, but he recognised one of the voices in the noise.

"Quit yer whining, or you all shall get a nice taste of keelhauling!"

He jumped down from the hammock as the slaves were silenced. Then a voice appeared from the upper deck.

"Captain! You should come up." The first mate announced.
"Why? Is it another brawl going on up there?"
"Sort of.."

He stomped his way up to the deck. He was tired, and angry. So he yelled at the top of his lungs.

"What's the matter?!"
"Look" A boatswain said at the bow of the polacre.

It looked like a basic tartan ship with a pirate flag on it, or well, that's what it looks like in the beginning. He took the spyglass from the boatswain and noticed one key detail. The birds.
It's not unusual with a flock of seagulls to follow a sail ship, especially a ship with fishers on it,
but this weren't a fishing boat, it was a pirate ship. Not only that, but not all of the birds were seagulls,
the weird bit were the three sea eagles who was a part of the flock.

There was only one pirate fitting such ship. Someone that began piracy only a year ago,
but has already become one of the most wanted pirates there was. A witch with the name "Morgain."
Not only known because of her world known father, but also known for her connection to magic,
her witch abilities and her anarchistic perspective on life.
She had especially gotten experience in controlling animals.

The tartan ship were heading straight towards their polacre, ready to blast the polacre out of the sea.
Hayes did what was the only smart choice. He ordered the crew to put up both their pirate flag and a white banner under it.
Morgain's ship was withing cannon length, but no shot were fired, both ships have understood what will be happening.
A parlay.

Morgain grabbed a rope and swung onboard, the birds flying with her.
The birds landed on the polacre's masts as she landed on the deck.
Hayes' crew were shivering as they looked at the starving birds. She giggled as she walked past the captain.

"They usually eat fish, don't worry. Usually."
"What brings you here, miss?" The captain said with no hesitation, with respect in his voice, but not in his posture.
"I noticed you guys put up a peace flag, fellow pirates-"
"Corsairs."
"Hmph. Fine. "Corsairs." But I don't let anyone in my way get away unpunished."
"Is that a threat?"
"Sure. Unless you have something I want."
"Well, it's your lucky day! I have a lot of cargo downstairs that you could look at"

She saw a bunch of barely clothed slaves, mostly women, resting from rowing.
Scattered around you could see animal cages filled with too many animals in each cage.
She could also see the marine he had captured from earlier. The last thing she saw was the bearded vulture,
surrounded with rotten meat pieces.

"You can pick two each of anything you see." The captain bragged. Morgain walked dead silent back up the stairs.
"I'll consider it. I'll talk with my crew and we can talk more about it at sundown."

Hayes Vesh has never seen his crew this tense, even while they ate their chicken dinners.
"We could take them down." A gunner said silently.
"Excuse me?" The captain looked confused at the gunner.
"I only noticed one or two men on her ship. They're not many. We are 50 men." A sailingmaster spoke.
"That's something we need to remember, yeah. But I rather go down peacefully than abruptly."
"We can see how the parlay is going later. If we disagree with her proposal, then we go hell's blazi-"

Four shots were shot at the same time. Severly injuring four differently people. Morgain's crew started running towards the animals as Morgain were walking towards the crew as they had no weapons on them.
"I've considered it now. Me and me crew have already moved our stuff to this ship.
I'll take the slaves, the animals and the ship."

The crew started running towards weapons as they were sliced by her sword, but the captain distracted her as they took the weaponry. The animals and the seagulls and the rest of the animals were covering for Morgain as she defeats the captain.
The remainder of the crew started running over to the tartan as they tried to flee. The sun were already beginning to fade.
The captain was tied to his lovely chair as Morgain released the bearded vulture.

"Did you know that bearded vultures has a diet of bones? I think that makes them quite interesting. "OH".. Vulture.
I think I have found my new name on the ship." She walked away and re-assembled some of the slaves, making sure they were going to be better treated than before, as you could hear Hayes "Cross-Eyed" Vesh screech at the other end of the ship, as his flesh were torn apart, piece for piece.
