Last weekend I tried to make the minecraft shipwreck into sailboats, in a style closer to vanilla.

Proper attempt on making the vanilla shipwreck into sailships

This is closer to how I would nowadays make my boats and ships, with a more fantasy flare and taking the original design into account.
The three ships are placed into the water, next to each other. But there are also a set of them up in the air, allowing for ease of customization.

If you'd like other colors/materials for the ships, then they are made so that it should be fairly easy process to use structure-blocks or world edit

Schematics!

Together with the world file, there'll be a schematic that contains the three ships up in the air. I recommend pasting them in the air first, then copying and pasting the ships individually. You might have to waterlog some blocks, maybe.

Functional cannons!

By using One_Nose's cannon datapack, I've been able to implement some cannons on the player sailship! They are crafted by dropping an iron block and a piece of gunpowder, on a staircase. I know for sure that it works on the different wood types and blackstone - but maybe it works on even more stairs! Further details on the datapack can be found here


Notes:
Comprimation
You will have to drag out the folder inside of the compressed folder, named the same as the compressed folder. This is the actual world save, which you put into saves. The compressed folder won't work as a world if you just put it into saves with no other works

Schematic
The schematic is inside of the compressed folder that you download. For the schematic to work, it has to be solely dragged into config / worldedit / schematics . If there are other options of using schematics files, then I am not familiar with it and can't help. For cannons, there have been added a datapack into the world, which doesn't automatically transport with the schematic, which you need to take into mind!

Differences
Some of the ships might be slightly different from one another, which leads to none of them being completely homogeneous, so if you need them all to be identical, then you might have to do slight adjustments on your own.

Everyone can use it, but if it is going to be used in public events such as on server or any scenario of showing it off to multiple people, then please notify me and ask first- Usually, 99% of the time, it's totally fine! Just don't steal and monetize, nor take credit for the build :)
