i worked on the leaves around the branches still trying to figure out how to make the entire roof with just 10 blocks till height limit..

I am sorry but this is a really bad tree. It lacks alot of detail. The tree lacks baranches, leaves and the shape is too simplistic. I would try using Block_Fortress' trees as a good reference to to build trees, plus he has a really simple tutorial. Here is the link: http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/god-trees/
