The ship flies using Movecraft. The guns work without it too.

The KN2-16 was one of the prototypes for a new corvette for the Imperium. She was rejected, however, because of her very cramped crew quarters and lack of aircraft. She was sent to be scrapped. Furious of losing to his rivals, the designer of the ship captured her on the way to the scrapyard and caused great havoc within the Imperial navy. Using carriers, the navy soon drove the ship with her captain out of imperial airspace. While making repairs, the designer painted an emblem on the sides of the ship and became a bounty hunter. He supposedly disappeared a few years into his career,  but multiple sightings of the ship have been made, causing rumours that the designer may still be active.
