Here is The Nameless Temple, and I don't know what you will find here. Maybe you don't either. But I still recommend you come and take a look because... this is The Nameless Temple.
Map introduction:
This is a puzzle-solving map for Minecraft version 1.19.3, designed for single-player and based on Minecraft original features/obscure knowledge. By the way, my English is not good so there may be some grammar mistakes.
Further details:
The idea for this map came from a discussion in a chat group about a puzzle map involving obscure knowledge for higher versions of Minecraft, and I wanted to try making a map for it. Although I am aware that obscure knowledge puzzles may not be a good theme because they heavily rely on players' prior knowledge, which makes them challenging to introduce in gameplay and difficult to extend effectively, I still wanted to challenge myself and see what I could do with this theme, hence the creation of this map. Compared to traditional obscure knowledge puzzles, I have made the following improvements to this map:
1. For each level, I simplified meaningless survival operations and focused on the obscure knowledge itself.
2. I used certain scene guidance to encourage players to think instead of direct explanations.
3. Each regular level is equipped with a comprehensive hint system, so this map is also a good way to learn some lesser-known facts.
4. The obscure knowledge is classified according to difficulty and type to make the map more systematic.
5. A small number of special levels were added to provide a platform for logical puzzle enthusiasts.
However, due to the theme and my technical ability, there are still some shortcomings to the map, and I welcome any feedback and suggestions.
