This is a ship i have been working on for a long time, I named her the Narwhal, as you can see why.

I was hoping to created an adventure map but I am unable to keep focus and usually end up whizzing around my test world for hours. I've been playing for about 6/8 years so that's a lot of hours I've wasted.

so I am releasing it to the public, hoping some one else can do something worth while.

Currently its a fantasy rendition of a brig with obvious frigate elements however still true of any ship. the sails are tattered and i have several versions including a beached/shipwrecked, that i designed and a perfect condition one. the reason the sails are damaged is due to a heavy storm and you must make your way to port or {for hardcore} find yourself washed ashore with your ship completely obliterated by the weather.

BACKSTORY

Based on a Brig circa 18th/19th century

the Brig, based on brigantine title was usually a 5th or 6th rate naval sailing vessel, prized for it manoeuvrability and how cheap they were to produce compared to the current naval assortment such as the Ships of the Line. usually referred to as a Brig Sloop or Gunbrig and usually costal until later designs encouraged island to island travel, and then bulk ordered for combat

Naval class was based on how many crew a ship could sail with, later changed to its armament/ how many cannons it carried.
formally a two masted ship with an aft sail and fore Staysails, with 12 to 28 cannons depending on the classification of the time period. ie a Brig might not be a brig till it was reclassified. multiple times actually.
