Nether Fortress - PMC Nether Contest

Lore:

When the first humans came to the nether, it was a dangerous and hostile place.
But a few brave warriors decided to stay there. They slowly expanded their base, growing Netherwart as crops, and even found a way to grow a special kind of nethertree, providing them with a very dense, dark colored wood that would't burn in lava, allowing them to build bigger buildings and even ships to sail on the vast lava seas.
This way the humans could expand their empire, and they created a safe place in the once hostile lands of the nether.
But nothing can last forever.
The land started to crumble under the weight of the heavy fortress, and many builds were swallowed by the lava.

I am sorry for removing the planet minecraft logo, I didn't know I was not supposed to do that, and it was right where I wanted to place my ship.
