Netherbrick City

So as a change of pace, I'm going to try to document a project from the beginning. This is the tantalizing preview of Netherbrick City. Netherbrick is a pain to deal with in terms of design, at least in the Dokucraft texture pack. It's harsh dark red clashes with nearly every other block.

So what's going on here...Lots of netherbrick and lava. And I'm employing tree trunks in the design so that it won't burn down. I've got glowstone and fence as accents. You can't see the photos yet but I've added stone buttons sparingly to give the buildings (there's a second building I've built since the teaser shot) a little more 'oomph' visually.

I've never used Netherbrick before...we'll see what happens.
