Welcome to Elves VS Orcs!
Elves VS Orcs is a fast-paced PVP based map, which includes 2 teams, fighting against eachother to capture beacons to win the game. If you've ever played Domination in Call of Duty, you'd understand this gamemode. It's basically the same thing. There are 4 capture points (beacons) scattered over the map, and both teams fight to capture these beacons to gain points each second. The game goes up to 2000, giving a lot of time to enjoy the gameplay. The map is full of hidden areas to sneak attack your opponent, catch them off guard and get the upperhand!
It is recommended to have atleast 7 on 7, but the best gameplay will come with 10 on 10, which is the limit that the map can hold.
If you are playing with less than 10 on 10, you will have to manually start the game. (Instructions in the map.)
You can also play the map as a normal PVP map if you don't have the recommended amount of people able to play, manually start the game, but just don't capture any points, the game will go on forever, or until you manually stop it. (Instructions in-game.)
ABOUT THE MAP
This map took about approximately 5 months to make from scratch. The owner of the map is mammaltoes, fries_are_good and Lego_Dylan assisted in creating the map. (Lego_Dylan was the Redstone man, fries_are_good was assisting with building and asthetics.
MUSTS
- HAVE COMMAND BLOCKS ENABLED , IT WILL NOT WORK IF THEY AREN'T

- TURN OFF FIRESPREAD (FALSE) Type this in-game to turn off firespread, or go into server properties and look for it. (/gamerule doFireTick false)
RECOMMENDED
- Use the following texture pack to get the most "epic" experience of the map. (There are no custom textures, "build" texture packs are recommended for the best looking map. ie John Smith, Conquest, etc.)

If you find any bugs/glitches, please inform mammaltoes via planetminecraft, and it will be resolved shortly. The map was only put under limited testing, meaning there will most likely be bugs within the game.
