This is the newer (much better) version of my redstone stopwatch/clock. This thing uses up-to-date features and much less space.
This design is compatible with most servers, and the "data rolls" in the back (the orange, purple, and blue wool thingies) use relative coordinates in the command blocks so they can be moved far away (as long as they are in loaded chunks) if you want a much thinner display screen.
This design features three digits (units, tens and hundreds) but can be easily expanded to include as many place values as you want.
Also, this design is much easier to read, and you can easily read the display from any angle.

PLEASE NOTE: this design uses command blocks, so if you want to build it in your survival world, tough luck, check out my other design. Also this means command blocks must be enabled on your server.

I forgot to include the on switch when i made the schematic!
If you go to the far right of the display, there is a 2x2 obsidian panel.
In the top right block place a lever:
Up = on
Down = off
