Good morning / evening to all !
After more than 4 years of not playing Minecraft, I thought to myself, "Hey, let's look in my boxes and see the prototypes I had started ! ". So I found this little prototype of a timed mini-game and decided to start it all over again, and that's the result !
⇒ What is it ?
The principle is very simple: you have a limited time defined by the level of difficulty chosen to complete an adventure. If you don't succeed in the challenge, the adventure stops and you will have to start over from the beginning, otherwise you will win a trophy !
Here are the 3 adventures available :
- Tetris (45 min ~ 1h)
- Portal (30 min ~ 40 min)
- The Mysterious Island (1h ~ 2h)
For the little story, I started this map 3 years ago when the command blocks were not yet as powerful as they are now. Unfortunately for purely technical reasons I could not produce the desired result. So I left it out. 6 months ago, when I came back on it, I decided to take the plunge and take the decision to create a game in a game.
I therefore decide to create a set of systems, including :
- A dynamic quest system
- Cuts-scenes
- Dynamic torches
- A trigger system (a defined area where when the player passes inside an action is performed)
- A timer that can be adjusted to the extreme
- Personalized dialogues, sound effects and music
- And other systems
Unfortunately the 1.13 has arrived and due to lack of time I have not yet completed the conversion to 1.13 (really complex especially for cut-scenes) nor to make another adventure than the Mysterious Island.

I'm working on the conversion to 1.13 and I think I'll be done soon. I could finally finish the other adventures.
