This is a redstone device that turns redstone into obsidian! you just place the redstone as in the picture, pull the lever and Tada! obsidian! Make sure not to activate without putting in the redstone otherwise the lava will go all over the place.

when i first learned this it wasnt as complex and it wasnt atomated so the lava just became a big mess, but i automated it so all you need is redstone.More like this
