What it does?
This concept is where you eat a golden apple or devil fruit in the game you will aquire a special ability intill you die at the cost of being able to swim. That is all this really does.
Uses?
1. I cannot think of any practical uses to this unless you wanted it in a one piece adventure map or something similar.
