How can you survive in a world with only one block? This map is your answer! OneBlock is my new map / game mode in which you get a lonely block floating in the void. You can mine the same block over and over, and it gives you basic materials that slowly become better and better. Build your own world and defeat the enderdragon with but a single block!

    • adds support for Minecraft version 26.1
  • Changes:
    • replaces name tags with golden dandelions in the loot tables of regular chests of phase 8 and variety chests
    • replaces the name tag in the gift of phase 8 with a diamond
    • players no longer receive recovery kits when the keep_inventory game rule is enabled
    • no longer displays the blocks-mined value below user names (due to a bug where this now also gets displayed for named entities like monster guards)
    • includes a link to YouTube in the start chat message
    • updates the map icon
    • simplifies the README file

Nice map.
I have a question which I haven't figured out on my own: I got no villagers in ice and ocean phases or earlier. Is there another way to get silktouch so I don't have to destroy corals and ice?

you would probably have to heal a zombie villager. Need a witch to splash potion of weakness on it and feed it a golden apple. Only way to get gold probably from converting pigs to piglins using lightning

yo is the sulfer added if not can you add bc i am new to this and idk how to join and in still trying to figur it out still can you help and right it in the comments?

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Sulfur will be added in the 26.2 update to the map. That will be out soon, hopefully.

When i was playing on the version 26.1.2 the world was doing fine untill my friend tped @e to him and now the one block is in our base can u please help me

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Yes, teleporting every entity will also teleport the entity managing the infinite block. This will be fixed in the OneBlock 26.2 update, which I'll hopefully finish soon. Then the infinite block won't use an entity anymore.

In the mean time, you can teleport the infinite block back to its original position using this command:
/execute as @e[tag=ija-a4-block] at @s run tp @s 0.5 60.5 0.5

Is there an estimate when the 26.2 version will be available? I am very much looking forward to it and the other creators maps just don't feel right compared to yours!

Glad you like the map! I'm currently working on it. I'm making some big improvements / changes to the code at the moment. Currently I'm hoping to get it down within a week, but it still might take a little longer.

history
Is there a way I can update the map so the 1 block spawns new items so for example the sulfur blocks and sulfur cube without starting all over again?



(I know the updated map is not here for 1.26.2 but i'm just wondering if you can update it without starting all over again)

It's generally possible to update OneBlock to a newer version using this guide:

However, the 26.2 update for OneBlock will include some breaking changes, so updating the OneBlock 26.1 map to the OneBlock 26.2 map will likely not work, at least, without breaking some parts.
