In 1953, a big part of the Netherlands flooded. Killing 305 poeple and destroying more than 100.000 homes.
We never wanted that again and started building the Deltawerken. Al across the Dutch shore dams, dikes and other water stopping objects were build. The Oosterscheldekering was one of the biggest. In this build you see 5 towers. In the real thing there are 65 pillars and 62 'gates' between the pillars. Each pillar is from 30 to 40 meters high and weighs 18.000 tons. each gate is 42 meters wide and weighs about 480 tons. The gates have been closed 19 times since it was completed in 1986. After almost 17 years of building. The dam costed 2.36 billion Euros.
My version is almost 300 blocks wide and only took 3 days to build. And it certainly didn't cost 2.36 billion Euros.

We Dutch are F*cking proud of it.

Hope you like this quick build.
