The year is 2104. You have been assigned a job on the new space shuttle, the Opportunity. The shuttle is a new breed of space craft that can travel farther and faster than any other ship. The ship is meant to locate and land on what we think are habitable planets.

You have been traveling for almost three months, and your trip is planned to be longer. To stay fully up to shape, the ship has special sleeping areas that inject you with a serum to slow down your body until you have to land. While you are asleep, the team on Earth loses track of where you are. You are pronounced dead.

You wake up in the ruins of your space shuttle. The tubes with the sleep serum have been detached from your arms. The planet you are on is habitable, and looks a bit like Earth. You slowly gather what you can, and head out, trying to find the cockpit to see if anything is left there. As you are walking, you see a massive structure, with some time of light source on top. That's when you realize: you aren't alone.

Additional Notes

This map is something I've been making on and off for a few months. I've had some help from friends, but a great majority of it was done by me. I'm not too close to finishing, but I wanted to release a preview for people to hopefully get excited over it, and anticipate it. The screenshots only show the very start of the map, and not close to all of the beginning.



This is a work in progress. Some of the things in the screenshots will change. Also, these screenshots weren't taken with the texture pack. I forgot until now. =P
