Palace

This palace is part of my current early 1900's city project
at this moment it is still far from done and what you see in the pictures is pretty much al there is for now

the palace is the oldest building in the city's centre. many years ago, much of the island was covered by the palace and its gardens. after the deposing of the royal family and the establishment of democracy, much of the palace and its vast gardens were destroyed and had to make way for housing for the quickly growing population of the city. Only a small part of the palace now remains. it is currently in use by the city's governance. only the facade surrounding a small courtyard can be seen, as the rest of the palace is covered by new buildings.
