This is my interpretation of the Palais Equitable, on Stock-im-Eisen-Platz, Vienna, Austria. The building is my personal favorite from the city. That is why I had to build it on my city. My Equitable is located on the Avenue Emperor Ecberto I, on Scalingrad, the capital of the fictional Scalcinum Empire. It faces the Main Train Station and sits besides a version of the Landtmann Café, from Vienna, as well. The Equitable was inaugurated in 1745, during the reign of Empress Leila II, together with the Imperial Palace, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the city.

On Scalingrad, the Equitable serves a very important purpose. The building houses the Imperial Central Bank on its upper offices. Because of the building's notoriety, a variety of financial firms arose close to the Bank. On the same block, it is located the Imperial Stock Exchange. This financial district is the epicenter of all Imperial investments across its districts and other nations.

The Imperial Central Bank follows the gold standard. Because of this, the Equitable has an underground vault that stores a quarter of the bank's gold reserve. The remaining gold is stored underneath the Milearic Islands, the fatherland of the Emperor's family.

The building has a marvelous staircase that gives access to 7 floors. But don't worry! The building has also 2 elevators for those who cannot climb the stairs. The bank's offices are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. On the 5th floor, there is a Noble Room dedicated to banquets and state meetings. The lower floors are rented to department and jewelry stores. While the 6th and 7th floors, that have access to the courtyard, are rented as offices for other firms.

This floor plan image from ARCHI/MAPS has helped me to adapt the building's interior to my city:

The original Palais Equitable was designed by Andreas Streit and constructed between 1887 and 1891 for The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. It incorporates Stock im Eisen, from the Stock-im-Eisen-Platz, on one of its corners. "The Palais Equitable has a richly detailed façade featuring American eagles". "Wilhelm Beck & Söhne, providers of uniforms to the Austro-Hungarian Empire, had its shop in the building, and the United States consulate was located there." "The Palais Equitable was damaged in World War II but was restored in 1949. The entrance area was renovated by Rüdiger Lainer in 1997. Today the building houses offices of various companies and organizations". Information from Wikipedia.

Still to finish:
- Detailed Chimney
- Plant trees on courtyard
- Noble Room
- Underground Vault
- Additional Stores and Offices

Very nice techniques and usage of matierals for detailing. Usually these get built off-scale and only look nice from afar. Refreshing

Thanks very much! Building close to the scale while preserving the amazing details of the building was a main concern to me!
