The image above shows 2 of my pet chickens in my house.I later had 3 but killed them all becuase they got out.But I now know how to make fences.So ill make a huge chicken yard.

Yeah I know.But They will only despawn if I get to far away from[which is a bug]And I will just keep spawning chickens because they will lay eggs.And these chickens in the picture lasted 4 days and they didn't dissapear until I killed them.

Even Though They Escaped,If I Where You,I Would Let Them Free.

One Of My Favorite Mobs (Before 1.8) Was A Chicken,I Never Killed Chickens In 1.3_0.1-1.7.3

why let them free.The reason I killed them is so that they could drop more eggs to spawn more chickens.And I also do it for food:]

Uhh

When You Kill Them They Drop Feathers. Wait 4 Or 5 Minutes To Get An Egg.
Also There Is A 50% Chance It Gets A Chicken And A 25% Chance It Will Spawn 4 Chickens.

When you kill them they drop eggs aswell.You dont have to wait
