The Pisa Baptistery or Battistero di San Giovanni is the baptistery of the Pisa cathedral, a medieval Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, in the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, Italy.
It was constructed in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and was designed by Diotisalvi
The Baptistery is older than the cathedral but younger than the Campanile known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa that you can also see here.
