Hey there!
Thanks for checking this out! This is an old project I recently picked up again. I started working on it in November 2021. I did finish it back then, but I never had the courage to publish it. Now, I’ve updated my remake of the Programmable Drum Kit and feel ready to share it. (The old V1 will also available for download. It's a bit less complicated in terms of looks)
I've always looked up to the legend known to many as Disco_ /FVPDisco(as he's called on Planet Minecraft). As a kid, I always wanted to play his Programmable Drum Kit, but for some reason, it’s hard to find downloads for it anymore—at least from what I know. Some of his other maps are archived, though.
So, I decided to remake the map I never got to play. This version includes the original drum kit with updated looks. Since I’ve never seen the other side of the drum kit world, I created my own hub/tower design to complete it.
This map also includes other instrument groups! Yes, you heard that right.
The map features:
You also have the option to turn specific instruments on or off.
How to turn them on:
(Due to redstone limitations, it isn’t possible to have a continuously playing beat—timing issues and all that.)
I know the original map was a beat maker designed mainly for drums and percussion, but I figured—why not include all kinds of instruments? After all, Minecraft does offer a variety of note block sounds! I do admit they don’t sound as good as the original drum kit XD
I’m not entirely sure about Planet Minecraft’s rules regarding remaking maps from other creators, especially such a big one like Disco. If anyone knows whether this breaks any rules, please let me know ASAP.
Well, that’s probably everything! Maybe i forgot something, but enough of that please—Enjoy!!!
P.S. My first version will be available as a separate download!

- The drum kit ( kick drum, snare, hi-hat )
- Xylophone
- Flute
- Bells
- Piano
- Guitar
- Banjo
- Didgeridoo (Pumpkin)
- Bit (Game console)
- Electric Piano
You also have the option to turn specific instruments on or off.
How to turn them on:
- Find the lever on the green block (there’s one for each group of instruments).
- Stand in front of it.
- Look at it.
- Click the lever.
- Then, you can place blocks on the empty spaces, and the instrument should start playing.
