In-depth and fully furnished build of one of the Soviet Union's NATO-designated Typhoon (Акула) Class Submarines. This one in particular is modeled after TK-17, also known as Arkhangelsk. Built during the Cold War, this underwater leviathan has been the largest submarine in the world by displacement, beating its American counterpart, the Ohio Class Submarine, by a landslide. Although it may appear like a cold, dark, underwater sea monster, the interior of this particular submarine (in Minecraft, not in real life) is furnished rather lavishly. Various amenities including a movie theater, pool room, swimming pool, and other guest services, along with accommodations for over 100, are available in this spacious, 2 hull behemoth. The submarine has multiple functions as well, ranging from two functional nuclear reactors and scram functionality to lava ballast tanks running along the entire length of the submarine to 6 fire charge-launching torpedo tubes. There are, of course, reference manuals available in the map to help you understand all of the functions, so please read them all. This map was made in and for vanilla Minecraft, so no mods, texture packs, plugins, or shaders are needed. Only the exterior pictures were taken with shaders, and Optifine is recommended (but not required if you have a decent computer) if you wish to run all the systems.
