Welcome, welcome, to the first annual Hunger Games!

Or- the first post of our Panem project. Today, the team of PanemForever presents a glimpse of our finished landscaping of Panem, featuring the mountain range surrounding the capitol, the forest adjacent to District One, the forest surrounding District Seven, the shoreline at District Four, the mesa of District 5, and a swamp not far from District Eleven.

For those of you who do not know, Panem is the fictional country in which the Hunger Games universe resides in, situated in North America hundreds of years past our modern world's demise. It is the subject of Project Panem, also known as PanemForever, and we plan to bring the entire world to Panem to life by this summer (building the districts on this very landscape!). As we continue to grow our builds and finish more progress, we hope to post them on PlanetMinecraft for all to see!
