Project X "the Ark"

Hello, my name is James, I am a writer, inventor, and a crazed SI-FI nerd/Geek. I love Mine craft and pretty much any program that can let you be creative. I have taken many projects on over the years, both in real life and in mine craft. This will be hard to believe but one of my biggest goals are to send humans to mars in real life! And over the past couple of years I have been designing ships that could do it. However, this year is different, I have begun work one one of my many novels, And have started work on creating the back ground story for it.

The Ark Is a ship built to carry about 3,000 passengers away from Earth in the event of an Emergency where earth would lose its ability to sustain life, (So me being the visually oriented person I am) I have begun actually designing such a ship in mine craft.

I am dedicating no more than 5 hours a week to this as I am a very busy person. I will have more information soon, so please stay tuned.

Main parts

The Arrow: the front of the ship, contains the primary housing for crew, over look of the dome, about 45% done.

The Dome/Core: is the Center of the Arrow or front of the ship it stores water, and is the ships arboretum with farms surrounding it. 25% done.

Hangers/Cargo: the ship will have several hangers and cargo areas that will contain different craft, raw materials, and equipment. 0%

External Hull: the Ark will have an external hull and an internal hull, this will allow the ship to stand up to radiation and will help protect the crew, About 55%.

The Plasma force fields: will allow the ship to be protected from most external object collisions, an example is micro meteorites and space dust, 0%

Drive Pods x4: the ship will have four drive pods that will house the primary engines, 0%

Manufacturing plants: 0%
