Questions & Ladders is a standalone version of the minigame from Season 4 of The Quiz LIVE.

In Questions & Ladders, players will roll the dice and move along the board. Watch out for the red tiles though as they'll send you right back to the beginning!

Some changes have been made from the show version to work as a standalone version.


Standalone Information:

  • This map was made in 1.20.1 and has a 1.21 version in development.
  • You throw a Dice item to roll when it's your turn.
  • The game will run with 1, 2, or 3 players.

Played it, and honestly it was actually really fun and functioned just like the show except you have a dice to throw! I played it singleplayer because I didn’t have anyone to play with, but I imagine it would be way better with others!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I had to find a way to let the player roll the dice, and what better way than having them throw a physical die? But oh boy, that thing caused countless bugs and issues during development!

im trying to play the game but nothing is happening. its stuck at 0 and i cant move anywhere i just get sent back to the starting block.

What version of Minecraft are you playing? Currently, this map only works on Java Edition 1.20.1
