Random Buildings

So, here it is. My first upload to Planet Minecraft.

Right now in this wordld there's:

• A 1970s-1980s chip shop with a kitchen and storage room
  
• A Nether Brick Temple with lava for a door containing a portal
  
• (PLANNED) A giant 'fish tank'; a glass structure filled with water, ornaments... and squids. :3
  
  

The one building is a chip shop styled in the 1970's-1980's. I went for a classical look with Red Bricks and very little of any other block. Perhaps the skylights were unnecessary but I felt it would be neat to have a glass roof. I may change this in the future.
In the chip shop there is a menu on the wall containing Mushroom Soup, Pumpkin Pie, Roast Chicken, and of course, Fish and Chips, comprised out of one Cooked Fish and one Baked Potato. There are also four seats with tables for those who want to eat their meals indoors. Behind this is the Kitchen, which contains a number of Furnaces, two Brewing Stands (with Cauldrons) and dispensers that give out aprons and Drinks Menus. Lastly, there is a storage room with four chests containing foods and drinks. Some food has been cooked, some hasn't.
Most of it hasn't.
Please note that the idea for the chip shop was NOT MINE. A friend known as xXKarlbarlXx (his Minecraft name) came up with the idea, and though his server that we play together (that I will NOT give out the IP for) we made a different version. It's smaller than the one I designed and has a back garden for harvesting Fish and Potatoes. However, since I have no idea how to use MCEdit or anything else to capture it (and even if I did Karl isn't too happy with using mods on his server), you'll have to make do with some screenshots.

The Nether Brick Structure was, to be brutally honest, an experiment. I wanted to play about with doors other than the Wooden and Iron ones, so I made one out of Lava. I think it turned out pretty well, but I don't know if putting the pillars in between the lava was a good idea. (In some sort of way to make it up, a wall of fire hides behind the lava flows, which means that without some Fire Resistance you'll be burned to a crisp!)
Otherwise, I think it turned out OK. The interior consists of scattered Obsidian and Glowstone connected to a portal. You can jump in there if you like; I build a little guard for you to walk on, and I hid something... ;)
