Hi!

Idea is pretty simple - creating as realistic late medieval town as can be but still keeping this romantic, artistic feel to it.
As a person that is studying urbanism It, I hate the fact that most of minecraft builders are creating something more like imaginative elvish fantasy towns not sticking to the era or place in urban structure or architecture.
I tried to create something more realistic, but not existing in the past. I mixed german and french mid and late medieval architecture (alsace and brittany regions) with my own urban idea based on urbanism that can be met in polish medieval towns (silesia, pomerania regions).

Do not pay attention to the cathedral - It doesn't suit this small town, I'll replace It with something smaller. If you want to look at it more closely, here's the thread: http://www.planetminecraft.com/forums/post1836415.html#p1836415

Anyway as you can see - town is walled with combination of stone and wood (search Rothenburg, Cracow)
Behind cathedral there's a hill. It will be walled too and contain castle and older houses - original early medieval settlement was placed there.
