So after playing online on a variety of servers, I've found that there is alot of good people who struggle alot when creating redstone devices. That's a shame really because it really doesnt have to be that difficult :-)
Most people can agree to, that it's quite awesome to have a secret piston door to your house, a drawbridge or maybe even both of them at the same time!!
Anyway, I decided to create a small world where I would "expose" the dirty little secrets behind building some of the more basic redstone devices. In this map you can learn how to use the "XNOR GATE", the "RS NOR LATCH" and the "5-CLOCK PULSER" and how to make them into fully functional doors, gates and bridges.
They are all laid out on the ground so you can walk around and see whats what and what does what when you hit the switches. Besides that, I've created small examples to show simple and useful ways to use the different circuits.
And as a cherry on the top, you'll find a rather large mansion with a Mojang inspired entrance, small brigde and defence system.
My hopes with this upload is to help those who find it difficult to build things in redstone, so take the map for what it is; a place to be inspired or a place to maybe learn something new :-)
One last thing worth mentioning... The layouts I use in this map is not by far the only ways to do this, but they work as they should and are easy to work with. So when you get the hang of the redstone basics, I strongly encourage you to be creative when using redstone ;-) Just take a look at some of the things others have build and uploaded here, on YouTube ect ect..

Changes are:
1. Full scale hotel with a working 2-way elevator
2. Added my updated statues to the map. (They have machineguns consealed in their eyes)
3. A flashy sign (Not yet complete, still need to calibrate timers ect.)
4. Cosmetic makeover on the first mansion (Also still in progress)
4.1 New features will be added later.
5. Added a small display on machineguns (Under the traps section
Note on the Hotel:
The design on this elevator is not for me to take credit. It was designed by another guy! I found the design by searching for it on the web and got a hold on a schematic for it. After that I sat down and began to study it, so after learning how to do it, I rebuilded it with a few changes to it so it would work better in this particular hotel build.
I have not included a proper tutorial on how to build the elevator, only used some signs to describe the most basic parts on it, so for now you must spend a bit more time on your own to figure it out.
When I get the time to do it, I will break it down in a tutorial similar to the other tutorials in my map :-) But that will probably not be anytime soon, because I'm rather preoccupied with other MC thingies :P
I hope you'll enjoy this update as much as I have enjoyed making it :-)

I am sorry to tell you that this map, and every other I have here on PMC, are outdated. They are not likely to be updated. Not anytime soon anyways. I'm only keeping this profile to stay updated and to get inspired by the projects created by other minecrafters. All my Minecraft activity goes into SP projects (not uploaded here) and into designing server creations.
If there is something special in this map you would like to know more about, state it here and I'll see what I can do for you :)
