Rise of The Company is a fast-paced, heavily story driven epic unfolding as the Golden Age of Piracy comes to a close. Minecraft 1.8.9 running CustomNPCs is required. The map was started in early 2016, but wasn't finished until 2021 (Hence why it runs 1.8.9 and not 1.17).

Conflict! As Lord North's military government forces control over the frontier, piracy and bloodshed escalate to an all time high. Fearing a loss of their assets, the EETC begins to enlist civilians, prisoners and anyone they can find to fight against the pirate menace.

Important Notes:
  • If playing on multiplayer, only one person should start the main questline.

Installation of Map, Mod, and Skins for CustomNpcs (If you're new to the Custom NPCs mod family)
  1. Requires Minecraft 1.8.9
  2. Download and install CustomNpcs_1.8.9_beta(21feb16).jar using Minecraft Forge
  3. For Skins: Drag and drop the "customnpcs" folder (included in this zip file) into your .minecraft directory
  4. The map, "Rise of The Company - v1.0 MC 1.8.9" should be put into your .minecraft/saves folder

Are NPCs missing their skins? Make sure to complete step 3 of the installation!

CustomNpcs 21Feb16 is required. Later 1.8.9 releases are incompatible.
