Riverview Correctional Facility

Riverview Correctional Facility is a medium-security prison with a capacity of 770 inmates. Construction of the complex began in 1987 with the aim of creating a modern and efficient correctional facility and was completed in 1990. The prison comprises six cell blocks, administrative offices, and a variety of recreational and support facilities, all designed with careful consideration for security, operational efficiency, and inmate well-being.

The facility includes a range of specialized areas designed to support both security and inmate daily life. These include a gym, workshops, several classrooms, shower rooms, administrative offices, a kitchen, laundry and dishwashing facilities, a dedicated security center, and a medical area. Each area is integrated into the overall layout to ensure operational efficiency, with secure corridors and controlled access points connecting the different zones.
