The ship was build in 1844 in Clydebank by John Brown and Company.
In 1845 she maide the first voyage from Liverpool to Cherbourg in France.
The RMS Neutania had no cabins because the voyage only take a day.
With 15knots she was one of the fastes ships on this way.
One the voyage from England to France in 1901 the ship sank by a wave with the high of 5meters.
More than a half of the passengers died in the water.
