Hello PMC'ers!
I'm pretty excited about this one!
After a long day of work (even tho there aren't as many commandblocks as in f.e. my connect 4 game) I finaly managed to make everything work!
How to play:
-> Step on the pressure plate to get your items (a rock, a paper, scissors and a resetting item)
1) Choose your item (rock, paper or scissors) and put it in your hotbar (with this I mean: hold it in your hand)
2) Press the button
=> If you lose a music 'dun dun dun dun' will play and a text will apear saying you lose
=> If you win you will get one level and a 'tching' sound will play + a text saying you won apears
=> If you play tie a text will apear telling you it is tie
3) Now put the "Resetting Item' in your hand. (the emerald)
4) Press the button again
Repeat 1 -> 4 as many times as you wish!
Extra:
It took me so long to made because I just couldn't figure out how I could test for what item you are holding.
Also, the resetting item is needed because after it detects what item you hold, it keeps the redstone powered unless you click the button again holding an item that is not the paper, scissors or rock. This also works with air. But to keep it simple for the player I added a resetting item.
I'm sorry for not adding a version player versus player =s This is just player versus CPU =)
The picture on the wall saying who beats who (see screenshot) are maps. They are generated with MC Edit using a filter and putting a picture into maps.
How it works:
The items you get are not just random items. They have a effect on them. And based on that effect I can detect what item you are holding in your hand. Next, the commandblock for the item you hold gets powered, starting a randomizer. (Each item has a randomizer for it)
Then the outcome apears.
