So here are the basics of this project I am currently working on. I have been working on this survival RPG type map for a couple of months now and I wanted to share the progress and information on this map. This thread is also a discussion & development blog of the map, so I will post updated content of the maps progress down below as time goes on.





There will be custom loot scattered around theisland that you can find by killing monsters, loot chests,and buying stuff from Quartermaster Jackson.

There are 6 different levels of rarity for items,each rarity has its own color, the higher the rarity,the harder it is to find, or has a lower chance of droppingfrom mobs.

Epic=Orange

There will be a few custom dungeons integratedinto the map, 1 main/major dungeon, 2-3 smalldungeons, and 1 maybe 2 secret dungeons. The main dungeonis the place you need to go if you want to beat themap, the others are optional and provide extra tools,armor, items, and weapons that may or may nothelp you on your quest.

I added a few custom trees into the map tomake it feel less like minecraft, and more like a realRPG. The first tree you notice as soon as you get on theisland are the palm trees, once to start exploring the forest partsof the island, you may notice large rain forest like trees.

Along with normal mobs, custom mobs can be found around the island,and will drop special items to aid you on your adventure. As of right now,the exact number of custom mobs I have planned is unknown, once Iget that number, I will be sure to add it in this description.

The pirate ship is the safest place to stay until you decideto move onto the island, on the ship, you will find yourcrew members that may or may not help you find the lostunderground temple.

I was revolving this map around the whole island. The main goal is to find the underground temple located somewhere beneath the island, and get the treasure, hidden in the END, guarded by the enderdragon.
