An abandoned structure on an unfamiliar planet…

The Stella University Research Team has landed on Kokytos II, a newly discovered planet, in the fourth month of the Terran year. Many light years from home, the team is expected to live on the surface and study the strange geology of this seemingly uninhabited planet. However, shortly after landing they have stumbled upon an abandoned structure… perhaps part of an old castle, or the gates to a walled city?

It appears ancient, and no life has been spotted other than the occasional dead plant, but the researchers find the whole thing, well, a bit spooky. How could the earlier reconnaissance missions have missed this? What happened to the people who built these ruins? Are there still people living here?

The researchers have set up camp in the cave systems below. Now it’s time to explore…
