So i decided the castle was not cool enough - it needed something more. Given the interesting location I was provided with a few unique natural features to work with.

(1) - A small ice/water cave was located on top of the mountain i built the castle on. It just so happened that this was below the 1st floor. I made a good sized dungeon area under it consisting of spruce doors, iron bars, lots of cobble, stone brick, brick and stone slab. I kept a large portion of the ice cave unedited. One path takes you to a hidden armory, another takes you into the ice cave where you find a sort of sewer exit through which water pours down the cliff side and onto the giant watermill found in my previous post. If you look down there is a little pool of water that seems very deep. Well, it is deep, so deep that it leads far under the castle. If you jump down you will sink for a while then be carried through a tunnel into the castle ruins -which I will discuss later. The final path goes down several sets of narrow stairs until you finally reach a wide tunnel which takes you to the castle entrance.

(2) - The Ruins of the castle were made in a large pit found under the castle. When I was making the path going up to the castle I was carving out stone for stairs. I noticed a large cave hidden inside the mountain and thought i could use it for something later. It turns out that cave had a small opening on the other side under the cliff located on the back side of the castle (again, look at previous post). I realized the castle would logically need some kind of support - that's what lead me to make the large pillar under the castle with watermill attached. ANYWAY... enough of the boring stuff. The waterway discussed in bullet (1) leads to the ruins in the cave that i discovered while carving the stone out for stairs. Inside are several detailed balcony-like covered pathways that connect both to the central waterfall and to the sides of the cave where they burrow through the stone and come out lower in the cave only to repeat the process until reaching the bottom. I plan on making a worn path going from crevice in the back of the cave (that goes to the cliff) leading all the way down to the coast where an old ship wreck may be found.

I will be posting my progress soon, stay tuned!!
