Saxton Hale comes to Minecraft!!!

Staged on a large hill overlooking a lush forest, lies a huge castle with many towers circling the perimeter. The front towers bear flags which wave in the wind as a shadow falls over the hill, casting the Castle into darkness. Out of the darkness steps a very burly man with no shirt and chest hair in the shape of Australia! He grins as he realizes that the castle is vacant and has been abandoned for quite a long time. He steps into the castle, waiting for the first fools to walk into his new castle... But over the hill steps another figure, YOU! Noticing the approaching victim, the burly man steps out of the castle gates and raises his fists, and begins to run at the new arrival. A grin is barely noticeable from behind his mustache as he nears the newcomer...

Saxton Hale is a game where one player is randomly selected to be Saxton Hale, and everyone else has to try to kill them!!! Trust me, it's far from easy! Players are given weapons that satisfy their selected class and they must all work together to take down Saxton Hale!!! When players are killed, they must wait to see if their fellow teammates can finish Hale off. Also, Saxton Hale CANNOT use any items dropped by any of the players. I am working on a plugin that will have commands for the Hale menu soon... Saxton Hale is a game from Team Fortress 2, and I am only trying to direct more attention towards the team fortress game and Minecraft!

Additional Notes

I reccomend the use of a certain texture pack that makes this map complete!!!

Also, you will need to get a plugin called "SimpleWarps" from Bukkit.

Also, I reccomend the use of this plugin to be used for players who were killed by Hale, this plugin allows you to spectate the game from another person's view, or you will see what they see. I would reccomend spectating Hale himself!!!

Also, this is a good plugin that gives awesome abilities to armor, a FULL set of gold armor is equivalent together jump, you can raise the jump height in the config of this plugin:

Lastly, I would suggest that the following styles be upheld for an effective game of Saxton Hale...

AT LEAST 6 players

*1 Person is Saxton Hale

*5 People are challengers

*1 Person would need to be Game Admin, but they could play also...

This is the 1st in the Saxton Hale series, I have a total of 5 maps planned for the series!!! I have planned on doing Castle Siege, Kakariko, and APG V2, but I need ideas for another few maps... If you want to vote either vote below in the posting or give an idea for another popular map... Map ideas so far are listed below...

NOTE THAT I DO NOT OWN THIS GAME AT ALL! I SIMPLY MADE A MINECRAFT VERSION OF IT!!!





The Game Admin needs to use the following steps in order to make the games work!!!

1) Have everyone meet you at the Saxton Hale warp, or /warp SaxtonHale.

2) Get everyone to take a storage room, have them store all belongings in the chests and take a nap in the bed so they respond there

3) Now choose the player to be Saxton Hale, make sure they are mature as well...(I have had a few immature Hales)

4) Have the people who aren't Saxton Hale head up the elevator on the right... Hale will go up on the left. (Make sure the doors to the elevator are closed)

5) Open the doors and have Saxton Hale wait in the small cobblestone room while everyone else chooses their class... 4 People can be the same class at max.

6) Give everyone their items... examples are found in each chest on the outside of the class room. Put the items into the water and flip the switch to send them to the players.

7) Once everyone has their items, open the wall panel on the right side of the outside area and have eveyone go to the small glass box on the edge of the map to wait while Hale is readied. You may also use /warp Party

8) Tell everyone to wait while you get Hale ready! The items youll need are in the back behind the cobble room on a small platform. Give them enchanted armor and the weapons of the type of Hale they will be. Like if there are 5 players, I'd say Enchanted 2 armor and so on.

9) Let Saxton Hale into the next room by flipping the switch by the Hale supply platform. Have him wait while you get the players onto the map.

10) Let everyone out of the glass box by flipping the switch blocking the warp. The players have 15 seconds to get ready for Hale to enter.

11) Quickly get over to Saxton Hale's glass box and flip the lever blocking the warp for him. Type {Playername} BECAME SAXTONHALE WITH ? HP! If you choose the Vagineer for the Hale that round, then subsitute VAGINEER for SAXTONHALE.

12) If you want to join, select your items for your class and jump in somewhere on the map. The round ends when either Hale has killed everyone or the players managed to kill Hale.

13) The Saxton Hale cycle continues...
