Scorpius Engine

The "Scorpius" Engine. What is it? How does it work? Where did it come from?

The Scorpius Engine is a single structure consisting of two floors. It contains all of my best work involving Command Blocks. Simple structures to help enhance the Minercaft experience. Think of it as mods, only minus the mods. It has a ton of features; they will be listed below. 100% Vanilla, 110% awesome.

The top floor provides enhancements to the single player game. The bottom floor gives a handful of mobs a complete remix. Each circuit can be turned on or off, so you can customize which mobs get the Scorpius treatment. Encounter Wisps in the swamp. Battle Golems in the desert. And survive wave after wave of Dreaded Draco enemies at night.

This device came from me, after years of playing minecraft. It is my gift to you all. Raptyrn is my character, the emperor of an insanely powerful alien race. They devote themselves to developing technology further every day, and as a result have gained the ability to cross universes. They spread throughout the cosmos, thriving and surviving on whatever tech they can create, with the available materials at hand. Each universe they visit wields new surprises, and they grow stronger with every jump. They do not actively seek out war, but they are very well prepared for it.

In this sense, the engine provides an entirely unique set of gear, tailored to be better than creative mode in a survival setting. Complete with tags, the set provides everything you should ever need to build that ultimate paradise. Upgraded weapons like the Scorpiac War Axe, which are slow to charge, but deal huge damage and knockback. Upgraded armor has a trait unique to each piece. Wearing all four pieces at once turns you into a God. And there's also a few new pieces of equipment, like the Scorpiac Phase Orb. Used in survival mode, you will be able to transcend the realm of solid matter, and control the minds of all entities. Yes, even a minecart.

Upon loading the structure, you will also be treated to having the Scorpiac Sigil printed upon your world.


To use the Engine, just place the structures folder directly in any save folder you want. for windows, go to C:\Users\<Your User Name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves

Then in minecraft, unless you have one already, enable cheats by creating a world with cheats allowed. (You'll need to exit the world before placing the structures folder in the save folder) Give yourself a structure block: /give @p structure_block . Make sure you are in creative mode for the next steps: /gamemode 1

Place it in one corner of a 12x12 flat surface, right click on it, and go to the data button and click it twice. Then, in the top bar, enter "scorpius engine".

Then hit Load. This will load the boundary, showing you where it will be placed. Adjust the coords in the "relative position" bars if needed before loading the structure for real, and ensure the Y (middle) coordinate reads -10.

DO NOT rotate the structure. This is very important. Once you've done all this, go ahead and hit load. The sigil should lay flat against the ground. If not, it's not a huge disaster, the engine will still work fine.

Loot the contents of the Scorpius Box provided, including the box. It is the white "tooth" nearest the trapdoor. Then go down that trapdoor to the lowest floor, and activate all the mob modifiers you wish to be active. Activate all the mob modifiers and play without the gear for a super challenge!

That wraps up how to load the structure. Here's a full list of features:

- Diamond Detector: Emits a noise when near diamonds. It gets louder the closer you get.

Mob Remix:

- Zombies become Dreaded Draco: They build in number rapidly if hurt
- Vexes become Wisps: They appear in swamps, just watch your step
- Creepers become Sparky: Fast but weak, they explode on the spot
- Endermites become Lightning Bugs: Nearing an enderman will trigger one to appear
- Silverfish become Ghost Bugs: They vanish at close range
- Slimes become Splitters: They split apart without shrinking
- Husks become Wind Golems: Surrounded by a tornado which will throw you into the air
- Grabbers appear in Caves: They also hunt Bats, so expect to encounter Grabbers when Bats are near.
- Chasing Rabbits gives you an XP reward
- Guardians can ink you
- Blaze leaves trails of fire
- Spiders have a Poison Aura
