My only complaint is the the house is open to the outside world and there is no real secure place to hide out at night...

I like how you never use wool, only the 'darker' blocks, and it still looks impressive :)

Thanx. I did most of my earlier builds in sandstone for the brightness reason. The normal house blocks still look a little dark to me. The next few builds of mine will be brighter as i will add some color with wool (charzhoopz style).
