I'll be brief, I've been messing around with large-ish plots trying to create imersive atmospheres, this one is my best so far.

Shishkin Creek is a small creek with a small village in a birch grove. This map features ambiant sounds which change based on the time of day including birds, crickets and wolves. 

For best viewing ability please use Conquest texture pack by Monsterfish. And connected textures of course.

Please let me know what you think. I really enjoy this map and I find it rather atmospheric so PLEASE download ;)

Hey dood! I downloaded your map, and I think it's great! However, when I played it in 14w21b, all of the wheat and seeds kept popping up and dropping. I wasn't sure if you were aware of this or not, so I thought I'd post something on it. Otherwise, it's a great build! (Btw, I am willing to help with your castle build that you mentioned in one of your replies.)

I just feel like I spend enough time working on my own builds haha ya know?  I will be needing a build team myself in the near future. I have a massive castle that I'm never gona finish on my own.

Nice build, very cozy. Using birch in a build is quite a feat if you ask me :) and you pull it off.
