Please give it a chance T_TSimplanote is a Minecraft Note-Block music maker that supports saving of 1 44 block-long song. It supports 12 notes:

There is tons of redstone wiring behind it yet the interface stands in a small room.
The only problem I found with it was the fact that during playback pistons fire many times.
Read the additional notes section for instructions and details.
One of the greatest things (I think) about the world's SAVE is the fact that no matter what the last world you opened was, when you first get it the world will always be on top until played. The only time a world will ever be above it is in late 2013, if you have a world left over from mid-alpha, and haven't touched it since then.
I will occasionally update it with new features, but I have no current plans, so this is (for now) %100 done.
To make a song, simply replace glowstone with the note you want to play in that song.
To play a song, push the lever down.
