I like the idea but I feel like it takes a whole lot of the point of playing Minecraft out.

Thanks for the feedback! Everybody has a different style of playing; some are more persistent than others. This build in particular is for those who are new and just want to jump in and 'take it all in' at once. I do see your point, though :)
