This is the second mob trap that I built, doesn't use any spawners like the third one I built. Like the last one it's built from max height to the bedrock level. It's been a long time since I've been on the world this is on so I don't remember how many floors it has but the dimensions are 26x26x127.

Sorry for the blob of land in the schematic but I had dug into the ground around the trap to make a storage area and never fully cleared out the land.

From a 5 minute run it gave me about 80+ items so it's about 1032 items/hr. This is mostly due to the grinder I made at the time when I was trying to find a good lava killing grinder, a good portion of the loot gets burned.I'm not sure if it happened during the anvil map conversion but I noticed several holes in some of the floors that messed with water currents, so that's one thing you should check on. Apart from that the trap works fully in 1.2.3 some adjustments to the grinder and you should get a much better drop count.
