Built by me at SkyMasons, a base on 2b2t.org built by the Spawnmasons.
Original 8k Primary Image Rendered by Me
Designing in creative mode took about a month, but building in survival took me about 6 months and was the main struggle of the of the process. This was build at SkyMasons and the world download is only a segment of the entire base, the entire base can be viewed in minecraft at the IP: thearchive.world and using /warp SkyMasons_2022-10-03@Spawnmasons.
Design:
Originally based off the Washington National Cathedral which can be seen in detail in the front of the cathedral, but later revised to fit my building style. This can be seen with instead of another tower in the center, a dome was placed which I really enjoyed making and designing. The intent was to make something neoclassical. The Island was built and design with the help of multiple programs such as world edit, go brush, and world painter. the help of Negative_Entropy in using these programs. The Island is a chocolaty diorite mix with greens and plains on the top. The lowest points of the island accurately reflect where the most weight should hypothetically be (I am not an architect just based on off what it looks like). This build was griefed before it was finished missing many interior details but the exterior is complete. The world download sadly failed to capture the entire bible which was written in a lot of books then placed into item frames in the church's chancel. Some of the bible books can still be viewed but this was a world downloading error. Other parts which are missing are some of the Stations of the Cross, they can be seen starting from the left aisle. There are also multiple references to factions on the server. The central logo inside is the dragon of the SpawnMasons.
Building:
Help from EnigmA_008 and Hanscor to complete the build. Use of Schematica and Baritone would be very useful for building the island but difficult in building the churches details. In total took about 6 months and an extreme amount of effort and work was put into this.
