Welcome to SkyBlock! [Vanilla Edition]
This map is a pure vanilla version of the popular mini-game known as SkyBlock! The goal of this map is to build and expand the small floating piece of land that you start off with.
You can buy items at a market and earn money by selling Cobblestone! The Economy uses the scoreboard system so you don't to give up XP or valuable items just to get new stuff! The map was created entirely by me, edge_to_madness.

INSTRUCTIONS
Singleplayer
- Open the .zip file
- Open the Skyblock by SnipinKomix
- Move the folder Skyblock Vanilla Edition to the saves folder
Multiplayer (LAN)
- Follow all the steps above
- Click Open to LAN
- Set gamemode to Survival and Allow Cheats to Off
Multiplayer (Server)
- DO NOT USE BUKKIT. You must be using a vanilla .jar file
- Drag the Skyblock Vanilla Edition folder to your main server directory
- Open the server.properties file
- Set the level-name field to Skyblock Vanilla Edition
- Start server

Fixed some stuff with the shop, including:
o Brewing stands and bottles can be purchased even though the needed materials for Alchemy are not obtainable
o When someone attempts to purchase an item and does not have the required amount of money but someone else does, it will take the money from the player with the needed amount of money.

In all fairness the command blocks are just outdated in regards to actually giving the items, I did find one other besides the item giving commands that needed a touch up but I forget which.
Personally going to use this after I finish fixing the command blocks and balance it out more to my play style, right now you can trade 2 cobblestone for 64 dirt which is pretty OP to me.
Thanks for the map, maybe you'll come back and update it for 1.9 if not maybe I'll upload my version once I'm done tinkering with it and give you credit.
