How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

There was no up to date SkyGrid Map, so i just made one.
Please don't expect too much of it. I didn't spent to much time on it.


The map has specific layers ranging from deepslate up to Snow and ice.
I did not add any water,lava and leaf blocks because of the way block updates work.
All Items should be able to be aquired. If not, let me know.
Chests are randomly generated.

The Nether is also a Grid. please put down the Portal as close to 0 as possible.
I left The End alone, so it does not get bugged out.

- Grass and Flowers now grow on Grass Blocks
- Mushrooms grow on Mycelium
- Pointed Dripstone is hanging from Dripstone Blocks
- New foliage in the Nether
- Chest Loot changed to accommodate Block updates

Thanks for the map! Had a lot of hiccups getting started -- lots of error messages -- but it works fine in spite of the error messages. I did what other commenters said to do and it works fine.

im getting an error when trying to extract the .rar file and i dont know what to do i tried everything, from editing to restarting to even deleting and redownloading. why is it not working?

for some reason i noticed that the .rar file is unzipped in your ondrive and it works fine since it has the unzipped file already you just have to transfer it to the minecraft folder and it should work

why is it a .rar not a .zip i can not play it on my aternos server or minecraft world how do i fix

try changing the extention by going to it right clicking it then press edit go to the part where it says . rar and then edit it to .zip then it might get fixed

Hello, thanks for making a 1.20 version of this map. I understand if you can't, but could you make an infinite skygrid version? I noticed there's a world border. Would love it if the world was truely an infinite grid. Thank you.

I have a lot of fun in your map.
. The only problem i experience is infinite spring and no lava so i can’t build an enchantment table and go to the nether.

I don't know if you already figured out how to do it, but you can use
the lava you get in the beginning and some Dripstone and a Cauldron
to make a infinite lava farm.
