Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I uploaded and I'm sorry. Real life has been getting in the way, as it tends to...

Nonetheless, I'm back and I've got many builds upcoming. I've started a new water world and a new building plan, much more organised, so expect to see a variety of interesting ships soon!

Starting up, some World War One US Navy Destroyers. I present the Smith-Class.

It was a relatively straightforward build, given its small size and simplistic superstructure, although there were some challenges involved in shaping the unusual forward hull and in shaking off a little rust on my part.

Specifications are as follows:

Length - 90 Blocks
Beam - 9 Blocks
Draught - 2 Blocks.

Note that this doesn't include extremities, so many of these ships are actually wider, longer, or deeper given various overhanging parts.

Armament:

Primary Armament: 5 x 76.2mm/50 Mark V Guns [5 x 1]
Anti-Aircraft Armament: 2 x 7.62mm Hotchkiss M1909 Benet-Mercie Light Machine Guns [2 x 1]
Torpedo Armament: 3 x 450mm Whitehead Mark V Torpedo Launchers [3 x 1]

The camouflage was a historical camouflage that was applied to some US Navy destroyers of the period, but not necessarily the Smith-Class.

I hope you guys like this ship and stay tuned for more soon!
