this is a solar eclipse in vannila minecraft, i always wanted to see a solar eclipse in minecraft so i made one. it is merely a scene, it can be used in a short minecraft machinima or as a part of an adventure map. it uses no mods or resource packs, merely visual illusions and special effects. i hope you enjoy the set, if you have any suggestions as to the next set or scene i should make just comment below. enjoy!

also, if you do download the map i suggest setting your particles in your video options to all and also turning clouds off. this will make the experience much better. and a note of causion, leave the door to the control room open when you go down there if your going to start the eclipse.

Awsome idea but screenshots might be better if you used f1 screen instead (maybe f3+d for clear the chat first tho)

actually i used q to take the screenshots, il update the screenshots today. and also i have a laptop and my f's (f1,f2,f3) kinda operate over minecraft (like my f1 is mute sound and my f4 is close whatever im in. and anyway, if you have anything that you cant appear to find on the internet that you'd like built in minecraft, im your guy. also you should try downloading the map, its actually pretty cool.

i updated the scene by cloaking the command block output so you dont see the text in the backround of every single command thats going on. so yeah, that should make it appear more nicely. i started building this mainly because solar eclipses are one thing minecrafters really ignore.
