Welcome to Solar Online, an RPG server based off the concept of nations, races, and classes. At this time we are still in a closed beta as we develop our class system and work to create the most amazing cities you will ever see. We will use this post to keep you all up to date with our development and latest news. If you wish to join us as a staff member you should read our post here.
Hey everyone, sorry for not having updated this post in a while, but we've been hard at work getting the new map done as well as configuring the classes. Check back tomorrow (hopefully) for a big announcement!
What can I expect?
Solar Online will feature a completely immersive class system, with custom spells and abilities for each class. You will never be bored while online because of the number of different quests and special activities we are creating. Even if there is no special event happening, you will be able to train alongside the others in your nation so that you are ready when the next war comes. Not only are there combat classes, but also professions so that you can choose a career. Whether you choose to focus on making money or training your combat classes, it's all up to you!
We hope to be ready for a full release come winter break, but there may be an open beta release so stay tuned! We will also be posting periodic updates here to keep people in the loop, so subscribe to our page.
Class System:
When you join the server, you start out as a Prisoner who must escape from jail and enter the world as a Bandit. Once you master the Bandit class, you can choose from one of the 4 starter classes: Warrior, Caster, Archer, or Scout. Each starter class specializes in its own style of combat and gameplay. You can then master that class through fighting players, hunting mobs, or doing other work. Each starter class has its own group of classes which you then choose from, taking that as your class. These second level classes can be highly specialized in magic, swords, or archery, but they can also combine different fighting elements, so that the choice of how you want to play and fight is truly all up to you!
Some examples of second level classes (there are 13 in all): SpellSword, Barbarian, Crusader, Assassin, Sorcerer, BattleArcher, ShadowBlade, and WitchHunter.
