Hello friends!

Rova's back with ANOTHER ship. (Two posts in 24 hours, whaaaaat?!) But trust me, this one's worth it. Challenged to make a newer, more modern style ship during fleetweek, I decided to use a hull more reminiscent of classic battleships, with a LOT of inspiration drawn from Skies of Arcadia. The result was beyond awesome. Easily the most detailed and intricate build I've done to date.

She's classified as a Sorian Defense Cruiser - Sora, the "Sky" province of Arkellia, is known around the world for being the most advanced airship designers in the Empire. Their ships rarely run on sails, and instead function with steam/furnace power, and stay aloft with their trademark Sorian Levi-crystals. Not only are their ships more advanced, but their weaponry is far beyond what the rest of Arkellia is familiar with: Sorian vessels are the first to utilize Air to Air and Air to ground missiles, drop bombs, and extreme long range guns.

Their Defense Cruisers are most often deployed as patrol ships, scanning the trade routes across Arkellia in the hopes of catching illegal smugglers, pirates, and other shady types of people. With their four sets of double propellers, it's hard to outrun a Defense Cruiser once it has you in it's sights. And even if you could, the long range guns would disable you in a heartbeat.

Very enjoyable build to make - Will be doing more in the near future!
