Introducing SS PARIS in Minecraft!

This is a 1:1 scale build of the French Liner SS Paris! This build features her First & Tourist Class interiors.

**Disclaimer: Some interior spaces could not be built due to limited information on deck plans and limited class accommodation information.**

A few things to Note about this build:
1) I recommend you use the Natural Texture Pack for full immersion.
2) I build in 1:1 scale, but building in this scale comes with limitations. Some areas may be distorted or compromised due to scale and sizing when building in 1:1. Compromises have to be made in order to complete the build, so some areas may not actually resemble the actual thing. (This goes for all future builds).
3) This build does not feature cabins, engine rooms, or crew member spaces. There is dead space unfortunately, but I try my best to accurately recreate the popular venues onboard. All builds primarily focuses on class accommodations (Lounges, Dining Rooms, etc).


Short history of the SS Paris
She was a french ocean liner built for the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (French Line) in 1916 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique. She had her maiden on June 15, 1921 after being delayed by WWI. She was the largest French liner at the time and even though she did not compete in size, she competed in luxury. She had a fairly successful career with a few minor incidents but on April 18, 1939 things would change. As she was docked in Le Havre, a fire broke out in the bakery and quickly spread throughout. As firefighters sprayed water, she began to list and eventually fully capsized in place. She was immediately declared a loss but scrapping wouldn't start until the end of WWII in 1947. Finally in 1947, she was broken up on site ending her legacy as the luxury liner SS Paris.
